Meeting place

The Centre for Sámi Studies is an academic and cultural meeting place.

We contribute to the development of Tromsø as an international indigenous city, and to an indigenous- to indigenous cooperation. The University has become an important international arena for discussions about indigenous questions.

Foreign guest researchers have shorter or longer stays at the Centre. They are presented below:
